Hazard Tree Removal
In order to declare a tree hazardous, two things have to be present.
1) The tree needs to be actively failing or have a high probability of failing
2) There needs to be a high value target that the tree or tree parts could damage (buildings, vehicles, or high traffic/use areas)
Hazardous trees also include dead trees, dying trees, root damaged trees, trees that are splitting apart, trees with large deadwood in them, and uprooting trees.
Having a Certified Tree Risk Assessor on staff, Sound Arbor LLC can identify hazardous tree as such, and if necessary for legal purposes, fill out the paperwork required for your city to allow you to remove your hazardous tree. If there are mitigation oportunities to reduce the tree's risk (cable and bracing, structural pruning, removing hazardous parts of the tree), we can walk you through those options as well. If no mitigation is advised or appropriate, through the use of roping techniques, zip lines, winching techniques, cranes, a bucket truck, or a combination of all of the above, we can remove your hazardous tree without damaging your surrounding valuables.
